Dono Gelato Festival brings Italian gelato makers and Ethiopian food brands together in one hall — for a few days of tasting, learning and play.
Why Dono?
Gelato is more than dessert — it’s a craft, a meeting point and a reason to slow down. Dono started with a simple idea: bring that craft to Addis Ababa, and give local makers the room to shine next to it.
Working with an Italian gelato company, we turn Multipurpose Hall 02 into a hall of booths, live demonstrations, play areas and coffee corners. Visitors come to taste. Suppliers come to meet them. Everyone leaves a little sticky.
